My first impression of Now What?!

Black Country Communion, Uriah Heep, and Heaven and Earth have really put me in a keyboard-rock mood lately so maybe I'm a little biased after hearing the first half only of Now What?! I can appreciate and love the simplistic approach of stuff like White Stripes, but sometimes you really want something to fill it all out. So far that's what I'm getting from this album. A little classic, a tiny bit proggy, this album can be hard and light at the same time, like watching sub-par porn. Not that the music is sup-par. It's all about the riffs on this one - heavy and melodic. So far me likey. But then again I've been delerious from the heat.

Well that doesn't sound bad , I'll prolly pick it up with the new Sabbath (which all these Rush fans are raving about) next week.

I think Vincent Price should have been the last track. The "bonus" track seems rather generic.

Pretty good video though Vincent had little to do with the Classic Monsters, other than a couple appearances as The Invisible Man...maybe the the Invisible man was in the video ?

Liking this more and more, especially the funk of Body Line.

Allmusic's review gave 4 out of 5 stars:

Cool. I asked about this one on another thread... about 12 hours ago. I've been reading, ranting and generally catching up all day (it's almost 11PM now... and I'm still about 50 threads from home)...

Now that I know you like it, I know that there isn't a snowball's chance that I'll like it... :ataunt:

Just playing. Thanks, Billster... I'll have to pick this up. :B
