The Eagles are coming to Bankers Life in October , I'm tempted to go but tickets run from $199 for the best to $49 for nose bleeds. I'm not a huge fan but I always liked them and Hotel California is IMO one of the greatest albums ever.

Aren't the Eagles the one's whose prices were uber-expensive 10-20 years ago when they had their big reunion tour? I'm glad to see they've come down.

They were the first ones I seen charge $100 a ticket.

For some reason I recall something about $600 tickets. Damned if I can remember.

I saw them in 1996... "Hell Freezes Over" was released in 1994, but I want to say that the show I saw was still an extension of that tour. They were on and off the road for several years in a row when they first reunited. I saw them at the then-brand-new Virginia Beach Amphitheater. I didn't have a lot of money, so I bought lawn tickets, which were... well... here. See for yourself.

$44.50 (+$1.50 parking + $3.00 tax + $2.00 to benefit the Santa Cruz Island Foundation)

If I remember correctly, the front section seats were long gone right away... but were well out of my price range anyway (somewhere around $150, I think?). Pretty steep for a show that was almost 20 years ago. That said, it was a no opening act, 2 1/2 hour Eagle-fest. They played a great set, and sounded great doing it.

All told, worth it.

Wait a minute... Why the hell did they charge us all $2 apiece to pay for some bullshit island out in California? That ain't right. You know it's bad when your broke-ass state is charging fees at concerts on the other side of the country 2500 miles away. :ataunt:

Where's Chris at? I'm just like the newspaper delivery boy in "Better Off Dead"...

"I want MY TWO DOLLARS!!!!"
