I've recently gotten into these guys a lot, and they've got a new album coming out (the single was released yesterday in Finland, and i guess the album has already leaked :x )

Here's the new album info:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Blooddrunk is the sixth studio album by Finnish metal band Children of Bodom.

The album title, Blooddrunk, was confirmed November 14, 2007 on the bands website. The album will contain nine original songs, including a re-recorded version of "Tie My Rope". Various editions will feature one or two cover songs as bonus tracks.

Alexi Laiho has stated that he has been feeling very aggressive while writing the songs, and that they will be faster and "thrashier" than the songs displayed on their latest release, Are You Dead Yet? He has also notified fans, however, that certain parts of the album will be more progressive. The lyrics will cover similar territory as previous releases, and the "aggression" will remain intact. Most of the tracks did not have titles until recently because the lyrics were not fully completed.

Roope Latvala will also play two solos on Blooddrunk, just as he did on Are You Dead Yet?.

The first single will be the title track of the album. The single will be released in Finland on February 27, and will feature the cover song "Lookin' Out My Back Door" as b-side. The song, "Tie My Rope", was recently released and is available on YouTube for viewing and listening. The videos for "Blooddrunk" and "Hellhounds on My Trail" were shot in Berlin, Germany in December.

The album leaked on February 24, 2008.

Track listing
"Hellhounds on My Trail" – 3:58
"Blooddrunk" – 4:05
"Lobodomy" – 4:24
"One Day You Will Cry" – 4:05
"Smile Pretty for the Devil" – 3:54
"Tie My Rope"– 4:14
"Done With Everything, Die for Nothing" – 3:29
"Banned from Heaven" – 5:05
"Roadkill Morning" – 3:32

Recorded Cover Songs:
"War Inside My Head" (Suicidal Tendencies cover)
"Lookin' Out My Back Door" (Creedence Clearwater Revival cover)
"Just Dropped In" (Kenny Rogers cover)
"Ghost Riders in the Sky" (Stan Jones cover)

Don't worry, Alexi has already admitted the vocals are pretty much an afterthought :P

lol, yea there's a few songs where I get that vibe.

I used to hate COB, and that was when i was at the height of my "cookie monster years" but with the release of Are You Dead Yet? I rediscovered them and after a few listens got over the vocals and actually can tell what he's saying now lol (still working on some of the older released though lol)

I don't think I'll ever be able to understand Alexi most of the time, although his semi-clean vocals are pretty badass. Thats ok though, because he still writes some fucking awesome music.
