Seeing as Frank has no posts in his sub-forum, I felt I should remedy that with a good old fashioned favorites thread, so everyone, just what is your favorite Zappa solo?

I'm going to have to go with Muffin Man, that solo is just incredible.

Facebook: sucks royal ass!
I only have at the moment a compilation disc, but I'd have to go with The Muffin Man too.

By the way, why does the Valley Girl song have to be just as annoying as Valley Girl talk actually was? :?

because Franks plan backfired and actually made that crap more popular instead of making it the target of scorn and ridicule :?

Frank does a lot of great guitar solo's on his Over-Nite Sensation album.

"Dirty Love" and "Montana" are a couple of songs that come to mind from that one.

If your lucky you can find the Over-Nite Sensation and Apostophe abums together on one disc.

Frank tears it up on Apostrophe also... :B

I bought them separately.

Don't forget Zombie Woof... Great solo. 8)

Cosmik Debris and Apostrophe also have great bluesy solos. :guitar3:

Willie The Pimp and Son Of Mr. Green Genes from "Hot Rats"... not to mention the killer violin solo on The Gumbo Variations... :beerbang:

Rat Tomago, The Sheik Yerbouti Tango, City Of Tiny Lights and Yo' Mama off "Sheik Yerbouti"...

Shit. That's more than one, isn't it?

To be honest, I don't know all if all of these were played by Zappa... but they've all got great solos. Now... Let's talk lyrics.

God bless Frank Zappa... in all his twisted glory. 8)
