Sneaking in some classic rockers, I see... Good man. 8)

BTW ~ I bought a few old Nazareth discs but haven't had a chance to spin them yet. :B

It was Halloween so I figured what the hell, I'd go for it. The only song I forgot to play in the last hour, which I'd thought of playing earlier, was "Creatures of the Night." Maybe next year.

The Kiss tune? That's a pretty heavy one for your station's format. You might have gotten a call about that one... :P

I played "Monster Mash" in the 7PM hour. And the Payola$ were a Canadian pop/rock group, didn't have much success Stateside, although their guitarist went on to become a very well-known producer...Bob Rock.

And Steve, that's why I was saving it till the last hour...the funny thing is I DID play "Enter Sandman," what could be the only time Metallica has been played on there. But "Creatures..." seems heavier for some reason if that makes any sense...possibly because it isn't as well known. Personally I think everyone should own that album, but that's just me.

Yep... Definitely some heavy duty stuff in both cases, but I would imagine Enter Sandman would be a bit more palatable for the bosses because of its mainstream popularity.

Either way, if there's one time of year you can get away with breaking out the heavy stuff, it's Halloween. 8)
