Honest to God Steve, I was looking at the charts from that year, various weeks/months, and that song kept coming up. Finally I was like you know what? Let's get a good laugh out of this. And for whatever reason, that song was a HUGE crossover hit!

Yep... There were a few country acts that had quite a bit of crossover exposure back then... Alabama and Ronnie Milsap come to mind there as well.

I have several CDs by both artists... :oops:
