Don't feel bad... I'm a junkie for writing credits and music trivia of any sort. It's amazing how many people don't know when a song is a cover tune or who did the original. I talk music to anyone who'll listen (whether they like it or not :P)... so I get into those sorts of conversations all the time.

In fact, I caught a guy last night at the bar at the BulletBoys show. I mentioned Montrose when they played Rock Candy... and the O-Jays when they did For The Love Of Money. He knew those two... but I was a bit disappointed that they didn't play Hang On St. Christopher... so I said something like: "That ain't right... You can't play 2 out of 3 of your big covers."

Long story short... he didn't know ...St. Christopher was a cover and insisted it was their tune. Several others at the bar didn't think so either. I bet three people a beer each... and we went and found one of the crew.

Man, there's only two things better than a cold draft... one is a free cold draft... and the other is three free cold drafts.
