I played Edguy's Hellfire Club last time I was there. You said it was good, but that you had basically heard it all before by other bands.

I think you will like Chemical Wedding though.

Was Edguy the one that sounded similar to Maiden ?

Yes. But their later stuff seems to be mellower. Before I come out you will have to remind me again which stuff you want me to bring. It'll take me awhile to find that stuff, I'm sure.

I actually like the solo stuff better than the newer Maiden. I'd say anything after Powerslave wasn't up to snuff for me. This CD was a great surprise. So were the rest of the solo CDs. What a talent. I like the review Ben. Good job yet again.

I don't know man, I might put A Matter of Life and Death up there with this album. It's not as heavy, but still a damn good album. If you like it heavy, this is obviously the better choice, but A Matter... has some solid music and feel. But, this album was better than Dance of Death or Brave New World IMO.

So I finally got around to listening to this yesterday and it's pretty good I'd give it a 7/10 and that's pretty good cause I am a hard ass as you all know. I was particularly impressed that it didn't really sound much like Maiden which kinda shocked me  .

Knowing Gary's tastes a little, I think he might enjoy Skunkworks perhaps.
