The 80's Metal Server was originally founded in 2006 by a small group of fans of 80's metal. It was started to pay tribute to the bands we all loved, since there were very few places on the Internet for us to hang out and discuss music and life, give each other crap and have fun. Sarcasm is always welcome!

It is our opinion that the best metal was created in the 80's, although some of today's bands are pretty good, too. We always enjoy hearing good music, regardless of the time period. That is the bottom line here.

The mods here have an estimated 6,500 CDs between them... and that is a conservative estimate.

Here, you will find sections for the biggest hard rock and metal bands of the 80's, new bands, reviews and an area dedicated to fun (which is available for members only).

Our community is small, but we are always looking for good people to contribute. It's a great place to hang out and BS, without all the drama found on most boards. You are always welcome. We think it will be well worth your time to check it out.
